I’m honored to serve the people of House District 50, and look forward to working with my fellow Representatives, Democrats and Republicans, to create jobs and get our economy back on track.

I was recently appointed to fill the vacancy of Jim Riesberg, and the weight of my new position is not lost on me.  I seek to make him and all the residents of my district proud to call me their representative.

As a Colorado native, I was inspired by my teachers to become an educator and work to make our community a wonderful place to live, work, and raise a family. It was instilled in me from a very early age that a quality education is the key to opportunity and vital to the future of our state and nation. I’m proud to have spent my career teaching the next generation of Coloradans, and it is imperative that every action we take here in the Legislature is a way to leave things better for them.
